At ARV's atelier at Ruysdaelhof 15 in Eindhoven, Anne-Roos Verheijen live-paints pre-loved clothing into wearable art. During DDW, visitors see the collections up close and can customise a one-of-a-kind design by ARV.

ARV the Label

ARV stands for the initials of founder Anne-Roos Verheijen, but also for Artistic Re-used Value: adding value to what already exists. Instead of producing new garments, ARV reimagines existing clothing as a canvas for artistic expression. Pre-loved and deadstock garments are given a new life through hand-painted designs, custom creativity and craftsmanship.

Every garment carries its own history, imperfections and character. Rather than hiding these elements, ARV embraces them as part of the artwork. The result is wearable art that is not only unique, but also creates a deeper emotional connection between the garment and the person wearing it.

About ARV the Label

ARV the Label was founded in the Netherlands in 2020 by Anne-Roos Verheijen. ARV stands for Artistic Re-Used Value: giving existing garments a new life through hand-painted designs and custom creativity. Each garment becomes a canvas, letting customers co-create a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art. Guided by three values,

Be Creative,
Be Sustainable,
Be One of a Kind,

ARV upcycles pre-loved fashion, reducing textile waste one brushstroke at a time.
