Theme and motivation:
Celebrate the clitoris! Through a series of diverse models, each with their own unique shape and expression, artist ERos Heathen (Elwin Rijken) turns the (macro) spotlight on the vulva, and specifically the clitoris. Long underrepresented in visual media and medical science, yet now gaining a growing platform (thanks to the rise of vulva art), ERos Heathen contributes in his own way to celebrating this beautiful, valuable, essential, and pleasure-receiving part of the body. In a surprising, colorful series, ERos Heathen presents the vulva and the clitoris in particular, through macro photographs that inspire and astonish; these images serve as a loving ode and can play a role in fostering acceptance, appreciation, and reflection.
Additionally, a number of the models featured in the "clit-pics" will be present to share their unique stories. What is their relationship with their clitoris, and what does it mean to them to be part of this platform?
