At Dutch Design Week, PXL-MAD presents young makers from Graphic Design, Object & Jewellery and Fine Arts. Through craft, research and experimentation, their work explores human and material intelligence in an increasingly artificial world.
CREATIVE INTELLIGENCE
What does intelligence look like when it takes shape through a hand, a material, an image or an object?
For Dutch Design Week, PXL-MAD School of Arts presents ten emerging makers from Graphic Design, Object & Jewellery and Fine Arts. Their practices differ in form and medium, yet share a common approach in which thinking, making and research are closely intertwined.
Through experimentation, observation and reflection, ideas gradually take shape. Creative intelligence emerges through intuition, craftsmanship, critical inquiry and the ability to engage with materials, technologies and new perspectives. Rather than providing fixed answers, the works in this exhibition open up questions and possibilities.
Each maker presents a distinct voice, but all embrace curiosity, exploration and the belief that things can always be imagined differently.
