JVD² Studio is a collaborative design practice by Jamie van Duuren and Jens van Deursen. They transform everyday objects through colour, material and form. At its core is Moos, a bold seating object evolving into a design language across furniture, interiors and accessories.
Origin: Moos
Moos began as a sculptural seating object — defined by soft folds, bold colours, and a minimal yet expressive presence. Its distinctive form became the foundation for a broader design exploration.
Rather than remaining a single product, Moos evolved into a system. A form that can be scaled, adapted, and reinterpreted.
From furniture to small objects, each piece carries the same DNA:
- Soft geometry
- Continuous curves
- Bold colour application
- Functional simplicity
This system allows endless expansion — a world of “moosjes” that continues to grow.
Visual Identity
Each category explores scale differently, while staying visually
connected.
The visual language is bold yet controlled:
- Strong, saturated colours
- Soft, rounded shapes
- Clean compositions
- Graphic presence in space
Objects are designed to stand out — while integrating naturally into
interiors.
